Growing up I was taught to graduate high school, go to college, get a degree, and you'll find the right job. That is exactly what I did. But while I was doing those things I felt like there wasn't anything feeding my creativity. I knew I was born to be different but I just wasn't sure how.

While I worked full-time as an administrative assistant for a small plumbing company I felt unfulfilled and I was merely working just to make a paycheck. I was also a new mother at that time and it broke my heart to have to pay someone else to raise my baby.

At that time I decided it was time to make a huge move and to jump WAY OUT of my comfort zone and apply for positions that scared me. One is a Human Resources position. What I didn't know was this leadership position curved me into the leader I am today.

After 2 years of long hours away from home, and traveling between company locations I just was burned out. At that moment I realized that I needed to follow my true dreams of being a business owner. I wasn't sure how I would get there but I would figure it out.

After I left my last position I started working from home for my husband at the time and I helped him organize and upgrade his procedures to efficiently work better in his tattoo business. It was at this moment I realized that other assistants and tattoo artists are at such a huge advantage and I am going to change that.
